Attend & Win: Two chances to win

Marshalls Registration

When we announced the Hills Ford Stages Rally’s first visit to Shropshire, one thing was clear from the start: this event will only succeed because of the people who deliver it.

“No marshals, no rally — it really is that simple.”

Marshalling at a closed-road, national-level rally brings responsibility, commitment, and trust. We understand the time and experience that marshals and officials give to the sport, and for 2026 we want to recognise that properly, working with all our partners to give you something special:

As part of our marshal programme for the Hills Ford Stages Rally, Hills Ford has pledged two long campervan weekends, available via a prize draw to registered marshals and officials across the event. Alongside this, marshals can also expect exclusive goodie bags and additional prize draws over the weekend.

Each full day of marshalling counts as an entry into the campervan prize draw — so marshals supporting both days of the event will have two chances to win.

Volunteer marshals are the beating heart of UK motorsport.
Without them, events like the Hills Ford Stages Rally simply cannot run.

From the moment the first car leaves the start line to the final competitor finishing the last stage, marshals are the people who make rallying possible — ensuring events run safely, professionally, and smoothly for competitors, officials, and spectators alike.
Why Marshal?

If you love motorsport but don’t necessarily want to compete, marshalling is one of the best ways to experience the sport from the inside.

Proudly standing out in their orange overalls or marshals’ tabards, marshals work at the heart of the action. Whether positioned deep in a forest stage, at a spectacular corner, or controlling a start or finish line, marshals play a vital role in every event.
Roles can include:

• Managing stage start and finish controls

• Assisting with timing and documentation

• Monitoring safety and radio communications

• Helping manage spectators and stage access

• Clearing debris and assisting competitors when required

Marshalling also offers one of the best seats in the house, with a behind-the-scenes view of some of the most exciting motorsport events in the country.

A World-Class Reputation

Marshals registered with Motorsport UK are among the most highly trained and respected in the world.
Because of their professionalism and experience, British marshals are regularly invited to support major international events. More than 500 UK marshals travel overseas each year to help deliver rallies and championships around the globe.

It’s a testament to the standard of training, teamwork, and dedication within the UK motorsport community.
