Behind the Scenes: A Message of thanks from the Clerk of the Course
Amidst the hustle and bustle of preparations for the upcoming Hills Ford Stages, I wanted to take a moment to express our heartfelt appreciation to our dedicated team members who have been working tirelessly behind the scenes.
From engaging with local communities to liaising with residents, our team has been actively involved in ensuring transparent communication and collaboration regarding the rally’s impact. We’ve established Resident Liaison Officers for each stage and participated in local meetings with parish councils and residents to address any concerns and ensure their support. They attend Regular Safety Advisory Group meetings, where we diligently report to relevant authorities at every step of the planning process.
Furthermore, our stage planning teams have been hard at work, visiting each stage repeatedly to meticulously address various safety considerations, including environmental concerns. Their dedication to this endeavour, all done voluntarily, is truly commendable.
As we look ahead to the exciting weeks and months to come, I wanted to extend our sincere gratitude to each member of our team for their invaluable contributions. Your dedication and hard work are instrumental in making the Hills Ford Stages a success.
Thank you for your unwavering support and commitment. Together, we will make this year’s rally an unforgettable experience for all involved.
Warm regards,
Dan Lister
Clerk of the Course

Volunteer as a Marshal
STUCK FOR SOMETHING TO DO THIS WEEKEND?
If you’ve suddenly found yourself with a free weekend, we could still do with a couple more marshals to join us for the Hills Ford Stages.
Whether you’re an experienced marshal or simply fancy getting closer to the action and being part of one of the biggest rally weekends in Shropshire, we’d love to hear from you.
Saturday takes us to Weston Park, before five closed-road stages come alive across Shropshire on Sunday — and behind every one of them will be the orange army helping us make it happen.
And we’ve been working hard to make sure our marshals get something back too. Thanks to the generosity of our partners and exhibitors, there are some rather special marshal prizes up for grabs — including a two-night stay at Weston Park’s Potting Shed and a two-night campervan weekend courtesy of Hills Ford.
Got nothing planned? Come and join us.
You might just have a better weekend than you expected.
I actually like this as the closing section of the Weston Park release rather than making another standalone marshal release. It gives the main story a useful call to action while reminding everyone how much effort has gone into looking after the volunteers.
